Let’s go for the packaging this time. Coming in a cool top labeled and clear plastic jar. With COURAGE CLAY across the front as well as VEGAN MATTE HAIR CLAY. The back has the ingredients posted as well as some interesting finds.
First you have the ingredients as I stated and then a definition of courage. COURAGE: MENTAL OR MORAL STRENGTH TO VENTURE, PERSEVERE, AND WITHSTAND DANGER, FEAR, OR DIFFICULTY. Below that in smaller font it reads: LIFE IS ONE BIG JOURNEY AND COURAGE IS AT THE HELM OF IT ALL. BE SMART, CONFIDENT AND COURAGEOUS AND YOU’LL ALWAYS LIVE UP TO YOUR FULL POTENTIAL. Lastly, there is a space for you to write your own admission under the words: STARTING TODAY, I WILL BUILD UP THE COURAGE TO: How cool is that?
This pomade is handcrafted with natural clays, waxes, essential oils and herbal extracts. This is a remarkably easy to use clay, with an easy scoop and application. Kind of looks like wet pancake batter to me with a wet flour kind of cinnamon vanilla like aroma to me. It is described on the container as sweet tobacco cedar. They boast that this vegan hair clay offers a lasting hold that works much longer than machine manufactured pomades. A claim only working hands can take hold of. With good reason, because this pomade really works.
This clay is a vegan matte clay, with a low sheen. Nobody wants completely matte hair that looks like straw I would think. Virtually one of the easiest to style with. Lightly damp hair is advised for an ease of application. If you need an initial grip go with a bit dryer hair. My hair kept a decent bounce to it after settling as I didn’t use too much, just what I needed for a styling. My hair held up for the day’s activities and when it was time came out easily.
Give it a try, you and your hair will enjoy it.
