This is a great entry level brush that will do a great job and last a long time with proper care. It has firm boar bristles and delivers a great lather and good nourishment to the skin when applying shaving cream. Care instructions: After shaving rinse shaving cream off brush and shake dry. Store upside down to allow bristles to shed moisture. You do not want moisture getting down into the handle where the knot is. This destroys your brush.
